1V1 Euchre Free Play
Core Rules
- Use a 24-card deck: 9, 10, J, Q, K, A in each suit.
- The Jack of trump is the right bower and is the highest card.
- The Jack of the same-color suit is the left bower and is the second-highest trump.
- The left bower counts as trump for follow-suit logic.
- Trump can be led immediately after trump is chosen.
- Before the match, a coin flip determines choice.
- The winner chooses whether to be the first dealer or first non-dealer.
- The dealer acts second during trump selection, and the non-dealer acts first.
- If the upcard is ordered up, the dealer picks it up and discards one card.
- Dealer rotates every hand thereafter.
- Players must follow the led suit when possible.
- The maker scores 1 point for 3 or 4 tricks.
- The maker scores 2 points for all 5 tricks.
- The defender scores 2 points when the maker is euchred.
- First to 10 points wins by default.
- Stick the Dealer is ON by default.
Fair Play
- 1v1 Euchre is free-play only. There are no cash games, wagers, buy-ins, deposits, payouts, or paid prize pools.
- This site is built for practice, friend matches, and tester events.
- Host controls are for event recovery, disconnects, and tester support.
- Spectators can view public match status, but hidden hands stay private.
